MERCEDES-BENZ HEADQUARTERS

Mercedes-Benz company’s new U.S. headquarters is located in Sandy Springs, GA, and Tri Scapes had the honor of performing the Landscape, Hardscape, and Irrigation Package valued at over $1.5 million for the German auto giant. The new campus covers more than 12 acres on the south side of the property and includes 225,000 square feet of office space.

LAWRENCEVILLE LAWN

The Lawrenceville Lawn project covers the beautification of a city-owned lot into a pedestrian green space and includes visitor parking, restroom facilities, a decorative fountain, a sand volleyball court, an extensive playground, an amphitheater stage, extensive bioswales, and retention areas that deal with stormwater sensibly. The project also entails massive upgrades to stormwater systems, granite site walls, perimeter fencing, paver and concrete walking paths, modular block and gabion basket retaining walls, landscaping, irrigation, and pedestrian lighting.

CITY OF CHAMBLEE

Tri Scapes currently maintains nine locations for the City of Chamblee Park and Recreation department, consisting of a combination of both sports and passive parks and facilities. The centerpiece of this portfolio is the Chamblee City Hall. Located in the revitalized heart of Chamblee, the city hall is a focal point for government functions as well as cultural events held on the grounds throughout the year. Another unique site in the portfolio is the Chamblee rail trail. This reclaimed rail site has been transformed into an inviting walking trail that allows visitors to walk through the heart of the city in a natural setting.

DENMARK HIGH SCHOOL

The newest high school in Forsyth County is located in the southwestern portion of the county. Tri Scapes installed the landscaping, including trees, shrubs, and sod. TSI also installed irrigation and constructed the sports fields (natural grass). The high school is one of the largest campuses in the county and includes over 800,000 square feet of sod.

GEORGIA TECH STUDENT CENTER

Tri Scapes worked with the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta to improve their newly built Student Center. The project included grading, installation of concrete sidewalks, concrete retaining walls with granite veneer and stainless steel railing, landscaping, irrigation, and underground drainage. The project provided beautification and improved connectivity between street side walkways and building entrances, as well as improved access between multiple entrances.

GRAYSON STREETSCAPE &
MEDIAN LANDSCAPES

Grayson Streetscape & Median Landscapes – This streetscape project provides a gateway element for the city along Hwy 20. Tri Scapes work includes paver pedestrian sidewalks, granite rubble retaining wall, extensive landscaping, and a clock tower. The median project includes landscaping along Hwy 20 to improve aesthetics for travelers entering the city of Grayson.

RESACA BATTLEFIELD STATE PARK & HISTORIC SITE

Tri Scapes is currently in progress with the improvements of Resaca Battlefield State Park & Historic Site. The project was awarded by The Department of Natural Resources and includes the construction of a new entry and access road to a “green” stand-alone restroom pavilion. The project also includes over 5 miles of walking and hiking trails, stream crossings, pedestrian bridges, informational kiosks, colored and stamped sidewalks, colorful summer meadows seed installation, access to actual battlefield areas via trails, and wooden bridges.

ATLANTA METROPOLITAN COLLEGE

The Atlanta Metropolitan College is a project that involved the building and installation of wide pedestrian sidewalks with benches, trash cans, and decorative lighting. Tri Scapes also installed a large lawn area and irrigation.

CITY OF MILTON

Tri Scapes currently maintains multiple sites for the City of Milton, including the City Hall.  Services include maintaining sports fields, active and passive parks, city facilities, and ROW throughout the City of Milton.

GEORGIA POWER UTILITY SUB-STATIONS AND OPERATING CENTERS

TSI is proud of its ongoing partnership with GA Power and currently maintains the landscape at 23 local operating centers and over 500 sub-stations throughout the state. Right-of-way repair and enhancement services are also provided. At GA Power, safety is the top priority for both their employees and contractors. Several of TSI’s team members have gone through GA Powers ITS training and are approved to do vegetation management at sub-stations.

CITY OF JOHNS CREEK

The City of Johns Creek Sidewalk project consisted of adding accent pocket seating areas along the city greenway sidewalk trails, paver patios, stacked flagstone seat walls, and extensive landscaping. Two pavilion areas were also added along Johns Creek, with stone-accented retaining walls, sidewalks, and decorative handrailing. Crosswalk modifications and pedestrian safety bollards were placed at cross-street locations as well.

ELIZABETH MCKOON MEMORIAL PARK

The construction of Elizabeth McKoon Memorial Park in Dallas, GA consisted of demolition, grading, landscaping, irrigation design, new sidewalks, parking lot, and lighting/electrical design.

1180 PEACHTREE

1180 Peachtree provided a green rooftop alternative to a well-known high-rise in downtown Atlanta. With state-of-the-art soil and reclaimed water practices, the landscape installed maximizes the benefits of nature and minimizes the impact of building in an urban area. ATLANTIC DRIVE PROMENADE

The Atlantic Drive project involved a complete street renovation on the campus of Georgia Tech. New brick and granite pavers replaced the once deteriorating asphalt, along with storm sewer improvements, granite curbing, traffic signalization, and landscaping.

SPORTS FIELDS

TSI has worked with several area school and park systems to construct sports fields. TSI was most recently contracted by Johns Creek High School, Clarkdale Elementary, and Peachtree Ridge Park to construct the fields, irrigation, landscaping, and in some cases, bioretention ponds.

ALPHARETTA CITY CENTER

Covering approximately 35 acres, the Alpharetta City Center is the new crown jewel at the heart of the City of Alpharetta. Tri Scapes provides the grounds maintenance for the new government center, which is surrounded by multiple water features, a formal garden reminiscent of the president’s garden at the University of Georgia, and a park-like arboretum.

GEORGIA INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION CENTER

TSI installed over seventeen acres of fescue lawn and tree-lined parkways for the GICC in College Park, GA. For the past six years, TSI has also performed the maintenance operations that take place along the numerous four-lane parkways. In addition, TSI has maintained a perfect safety record at GICC.

ROCKCREEK GREENWAY

TSI installed amphitheater retaining seat walls for a natural city park in the City of Gainesville. Landscaping and handicap-accessible sidewalks were added to this multi-use city trail for the park.

FLOWERY BRANCH STREETSCAPES

The Flowery Branch project provided upgrades to the historic town square by adding sidewalks, curb and gutter, and street lighting to the up-and-coming city in Hall County.

DALLAS STREETSCAPES

TSI installed over 4,000 linear feet of curb, gutter, and sidewalk in the City of Dallas. This project helped provide safe passage for all of the residents and visitors from one side of the city to the other, as well as a connection to the Silver Comet Trail.

LAWRENCEVILLE FEMALE SEMINARY AND ISAAC ADAIR HOUSE SITE

Tri Scapes was the General Contractor for the City of Lawrenceville and Gwinnett Environmental Heritage Center on the Lawrenceville Female Seminary and Isaac Adair House Site. The project included renovations to an existing historical site in Gwinnett County and encompassed demolition, pavers, restroom building addition, parking lot, concrete work, erosion control, and landscaping.

BROOK RUN PARK

Brook Run Park in Dunwoody, GA is multi-use pedestrian path project where Tri Scapes completed a 2 phased trail system throughout the 100 + acre park. Items constructed include a 12’ concrete sidewalk, storm water runoff improvements, concrete retaining wall, aluminum and wood railing, and landscaping.

COSTCO CUMMING, GA

Tri Scapes’ most recent addition to the Costco portfolio is the new Cumming, Ga store. This project entails extensive landscaping, irrigation work, and grassing. TSI also installed a drip irrigation system on all shrub plantings as well as screening onsite topsoil for all plant and sod areas.

CITY OF ALPHARETTA STREET BEAUTIFICATION

In the Spring and Fall, Tri Scapes’ team of knowledgeable professionals designs and installs seasonal flowers in over 100 planters located throughout the City of Alpharetta as part of their downtown beautification project. The planters are watered and maintained regularly to ensure maximum visual appeal so that residents, businesses and visitors may enjoy them throughout the year.

FOWLER STREET GA TECH CAMPUS

The Fowler Street project on the Ga Tech campus included replacing existing and deteriorating sidewalks and street crossings with wider sidewalks and paver accented bands. TSI also upgraded storm drainage, installed new granite curbing, built granite rubble retaining walls with security fencing and wind screens to block view of football practice field, and added landscaping and irrigation that utilizes reuse water.

WINN ARMY COMMUNITY HOSPITAL

Winn Army Community Hospital is located on the Army base Ft. Stewart in Hinesville, GA. Tri Scapes’s Coastal Division will be landscaping the hospital grounds in addition to installing an underground cistern that catches rainfall to use for the installed landscape irrigation system.

COASTAL DIVISION

Tri Scapes proudly services the coastal Region and I-95 Corridor through our Coastal Division. Some of our clients include GA Power, City of Savannah, and Liberty Regional Medical Center.

AUTOMATION DIRECT

Tri Scapes worked with Automation Direct to provide landscaping and irrigation for their new company headquarters in Cumming, GA. TSI also helped redesign the bid plans with the owner to bring a more customized and personalized approach to the project. This included unique elements such as fruit trees, shrubs, and specialty evergreen trees not commonly found in landscaped commercial developments.

STONE MOUNTAIN PARK

Tri Scapes is partnering with the Stone Mountain Memorial Association to provide grounds maintenance services to fifteen specific locations around the park. These locations include Confederate Hall, an attraction in its own right and Grist Mill, a songbird habitat which highlights the natural beauty of the park, as well as the conservation efforts undertaken by those who care for it.

CITY OF JOHNS CREEK

COLLINGSWOOD SUBDIVISION

Collingswood is a new subdivision in Woodstock, GA. Tri Scapes installed the landscape and irrigation for the project’.

CLAYTON COUNTY HWY 138 MEDIAN PROJECT

Triscapes worked with Clayton County on their Hwy 138 median beautification project. TSI landscaped 2.5 miles of median islands starting at the Henry County line and continuing to Walt Stephens Rd. This project includes planting in raised and on/grade beds in medians.

GAINESVILLE COLLEGE

TSI worked with Gainesville College to install new landscaping on several different areas of the campus to improve the overall inviting feel of the schools grounds. New and wider sidewalks were installed, along with improved storm drainage, decorative columns and fencing, and parking lot resurfacing.

CITY OF GAINESVILLE

Tri Scapes is proud to provide maintenance services for the City of Gainesville for twelve properties throughout the city. These properties include Gainesville Civic Center, Rock Park Greenway, Martha Hope Cabin, and the Midtown Greenway.

14TH STREET

The 14th Street project was part of a multi-million dollar pedestrian connectivity project for the City of Atlanta. The sidewalks and landscape islands installed by TSI spanned the new 14th St Bridge providing safe, picturesque passage for pedestrians from one side of I-75/85 to the other.

JEFFERSON STREETSCAPES

The City of Jefferson project represents the largest overall downtown transformation undertaken to date by TSI. Four blocks of the towns streets were completely demolished and rebuilt with new concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks, storm sewer improvements, landscaping, and parking lots.

LOST MOUNTAIN PARK

Tri Scapes worked for Cobb County to install a fully functioning, complete irrigation system onto five existing park fields for Lost Mountain Park in Powder Springs. The system operates on a state of the art “2-wire” system taking the place of the traditional multi-wired system, along with remote control capabilities. Sensitive measures were taken to install the lines with minimal impact. Once installed the system operated from a lake fed pump unit, maximizing the green initiative sought after in Cobb county.

GEORGIA GWINNETT COLLEGE

On the Georgia Gwinnett College project, Tri Scapes demolished one lane of the campus roadway in a heavily trafficked pedestrian area. Reconstruction included installing a 15 ft wide sidewalk, an 18 inch high decorative brick “seat” wall, and improved drainage structures. The area was also beautified with new landscaping and raised traffic tables to calm traffic and give pedestrians a well defined place to cross travel lanes. Finally, TSI installed a fire truck rated “grass” paved driveway with a decorative pedestrian paver crosswalk.

STONE MOUNTAIN STREETSCAPES

The 8 month Street Scapes project completed in 2011 for the historic City of Stone Mountain enhanced its downtown image with over 15,000 sq ft of new pavers and 4000 linear feet of granite curb, benches, art and street lighting. Fresh paving and landscaping topped off the beautification project.

CHEROKEE COUNTY ADMINISTRATIVE BUILDINGS

TSI currently maintains twenty separate facilities for Cherokee County. To meet the rigorous requirements of this project, the principles of Integrated Pest Management and Plant Health Care are utilized to insure that only appropriate and horticulturally sound procedures are undertaken to maintain the health and vigor of the landscape while remaining sensitive to environmental concerns.
